Garlicky Green Beans
Green beans are a staple for any festive meal, not just Thanksgiving. No creamy sauce or fried onion here. This lighter recipe combines tender green beans with garlic and pine nuts and lasts only 15 minutes. First, boil the green beans in salted water (for more flavor) until tender, but still have a small bite. In a pan, fry the garlic with the pine nuts for a few minutes to enhance the taste and aroma of the pine nuts. Add golden, baked and drained green beans once. Season and mix, and the dish is ready for your table.
