Warm up your guests with a cup of spicy cider on a snowy vacation night. There is no alcohol in this recipe, so even children can enjoy it. Simmer the cider in a saucepan – not the fruit juice – honey, allspice, cloves, ground nutmeg, fresh ginger and orange peel. Once the cider has been heated and infused with the spices (this should take about 30 minutes), pour it into cups and garnish with a cinnamon stick. If adults need extra boost, add a touch of bourbon or dark or spicy rum.
