Potato Gratin
Rich in cream, the potato gratin is a recipe for every occasion of the pack. We took the classic recipe, leaving the cheese and pounding it with horseradish to warm it up. The dish looks very French but is actually easy to prepare and requires only 10 minutes of hands-on work. Mix the peeled and sliced potatoes in a mixture of cream, horseradish and nutmeg and place in a buttered casserole dish. Cover with aluminum foil, bake for 25 minutes, cover and cook for about an hour until the potatoes are soft and the top is golden brown.
