Winter is upon us and how does it sound better during the season than with some winter ink? An undeniable symbol of winter, the snowflake is a cold but undeniably beautiful season that many people enjoy more than just summer.

The snowflakes start as sub-cooled drops of water. As the flakes fall toward the earth, they create complex shapes with incredible detail and uniqueness. So unique that for almost a century it was assumed that there are no two snowflakes. However, this was denied in 1988, when an investigator discovered two identical “hollow pillar” snowflakes, refuting the claim.

Although not all live in a climate that produces snowflakes, these people have found a permanent way to guarantee a white Christmas every year.
