If you love making cute seasonal amigurumi, this crochet easter bunny design is a perfect spring project. Unlike traditional bunny dolls, this adorable version sits inside a cozy little cupcake-like body, giving it a unique and playful look. The soft pastel colors and fluffy texture make it feel extra warm and perfect for Easter decorations.
Cupcake crochet easter bunny pattern
This type of project is often made using a free crochet easter bunny pattern, which is great for both beginners and experienced crocheters. The bunny usually features a round white head, tiny paws, and sweet embroidered details like a small pink nose and shiny safety eyes. In this design, the bunny is tucked inside a textured pink base that almost looks like a cupcake wrapper or a cozy basket. On top of its head sits a soft green hat with long bunny ears, making the character even more charming.
Designs like this also take inspiration from the popular crochet easter bunny gnome style. The hat with tall ears and the compact body give it that same whimsical personality that many crafters love.
This little bunny works beautifully as an Easter shelf decoration, a handmade gift, or even a cute addition to a spring crochet collection. With plush yarn and simple stitches, you can easily create your own cozy Easter bunny friend.

Sew the bonnet on top, avoiding the brim. I like to add a little stuffing into the hat as I’m sewing.
Once the hat is secure, sew you ears to the top of the bonnet across R2-R5.
Embroider the nose in between the eyes, using your thin pink yarn and needle.
