Valentine’s Day Dark Chocolate Cake

1/2 pound unsalted butter and more to grease the pan
2 c. sugar
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
2 big eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. Sugar-free cocoa powder
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 c. (16 ounces) sour cream

All ingredients have at room temperature. Preheat oven to 350 °. Brush the butter in the pan with butter or cover with wax paper or parchment and butter.
Using a hand blender or blender equipped with the paddle attachment, beat the butter for 1 minute at high speed, then scrape off the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Add the sugar to the butter and beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl again.
Add the vanilla extract at medium to low speed; Then add the eggs one by one. Scrape the edges of the container in half.
Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and sea salt in a separate bowl.
Add half of the flour mixture at low speed. If it is mostly incorporated, add half of the cream. Add the rest of the dry and wet ingredients, scrape the sides of the bowl between the supplements. Stop mixing as soon as you have a soft dough.
Pour the dough into the prepared pan and bake until half of the cake feels elastic when lightly pressed against it (approximately 30-35 minutes). Since all stoves are different, it is important to do the fingerprint test to see if the cake is ready.
Allow the cake to cool completely before icing.
